How do we record things
Written
Diaries - Information can be recorded in a diary. A diary is usually when a person writes about his/her life. Diaries can be written on paper like a book, on a pod cast or as a blog on the internet. These are not the only ways they can be written but are a few.
Books - Another way information can be recorded is in a book. A book is like a diary except it is not always about a person’s life for example a book written about a conflict could be written about one persons experiences in a conflict or about the conflict in general.
Visual
Films - A film is different to photos because with a photo you can only get a limited amount of information but with a film it is alot easier to capture a scene because you can hear what is happening instead of just looking at it. Using films to record information is a relatively new thing because today film cameras are smaller eg. Today it is easier to take a camera into a conflict because when it comes to using it is easier and more compact. This means that as well as photos film will become more popular as a way of recording information.
Photos - Photos can be used to record information because unlike a book or a diary it can capture the specific moment that you want. Taking photos is becoming more popular today because like with film cameras they are becoming smaller so you can go any where with them. Another thing about them that will make them more popular is that the quality of images that you can take is increasing.
Audio
Audio recorder - An audio recorder is a way of recording information without taking pictures. They are used to get the sound of thing and can be used for interviews and they are also another way people can record diaries because they can talk to it and record the information like they would with a diary. Audio recorders are slowly becoming more unpopular because of film.
